In this chilling tale of love and loss set against the backdrop of ancient China's Tang Empire, 'Eternity' brings to life one man's perilous journey into the realm of the dead.

The story begins innocently enough with our protagonist, Tsung (played by Vincent Lam), a young officer assigned to escorting the beautiful Li Lien back from her arranged marriage in 17th century China. However, fate has other plans as their oxen-drawn carriage is ambushed on a dark mountain road. In the ensuing chaos, Li Lien disappears into thin air leaving behind nothing but bloodstains and an eerie feeling that something supernatural has occurred.

Tsung soon discovers that his charge was no ordinary woman - she was actually a ghost from another dimension who had been banished to earth by powerful forces seeking her destruction due to some ancient grudge or unfinished business. Determined to find Li Lien again, Tsung embarks on an epic quest across treacherous landscapes and through perilous underground caverns inhabited by all manner of malevolent spirits.

Along the way he encounters a cast of colorful characters including Ma Ssi (Baihe Demi), a seductive courtesan with secrets galore; Wu Sanji, Tsung's gruff but loyal companion who harbors his own dark past; and finally the enigmatic Yutenglong - an imposing giant demon said to guard the gates between worlds.

As our hero navigates this treacherous world of spirits and demons, he must confront not only the terrifying entities that seek Li Lien's soul but also his own mortality. Will Tsung be able to defeat these forces of evil and rejoin the living with the woman he loves? Or will eternity prove too great a price to pay?
